1. Introduction
AJTVIRTUAL - Amilcar Joao is committed to protecting the privacy of users of its website, ajtvirtual.com, and its mobile app, AJT Connect (client area, iOS, and Android). This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information on these two platforms.
2. Data Collected on the Website
We may collect the following types of data:
- Contact information: name, email address, phone number (if you contact us)
- Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited
- Form data: information you submit through our contact or quote request forms
3. Customer Portal and AJT Connect App
When you use the client area—either on the web (connect.ajtvirtual.com) or in the AJT Connect app (iOS and Android)—you can create an account in two ways. Either following a quote request or an order, which you then activate yourself using a code sent to you by email. Or you can create one directly in the app without placing an order: enter your information, confirm your email address with a code sent to you via email, and then choose a password. Until the address is confirmed, these details do not constitute an account: they are stored temporarily and then automatically deleted if the code is not entered. We process the following data:
- Your contact information: last name, first name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and—if you provide them—company and job title
- Your orders and payments: services ordered, amounts, promotional codes used, payments you report, payment and subscription history
- Your AJTASK requests: text messages, voice messages, photos, audio files, and documents you attach; your selected priority; and communications with our team
- Your STRUKTUR documents: the text, voice messages, images, audio files, documents, and design files you upload there, the comments exchanged with our team, and the version history
- Questions you send us through the app
- Devices connected to your account: device type, connection date, and IP address for each session, so you can view them and disconnect them
This data is used solely to fulfill your orders, carry out your projects, process your requests, prepare your quotes and invoices, and contact you regarding them. It is neither sold nor used for advertising purposes. The app contains no audience tracking tools or advertisements.
Confidentiality of Your Projects
AJT Connect, and all the activity related to it, does not in any way constitute a space over which AJTVIRTUAL would exercise control. Whatever you submit, including your ideas and concepts, remains your property and is only used to realize your project. We never disclose, publish, sell or transfer it, and we do not mention your name, company or project without your written consent. Only the people at AJTVIRTUAL who are working on your project can view it. The details of these commitments, and how we are meeting them, can be found on the Privacy Policy AJT Connect.
Voice messages, photos, and files
The microphone, camera, and photo library are used only when you personally attach a voice message or an image to an AJTASK request (maximum 3 minutes for a voice message) or to a STRUKTUR document. These files, like the documents you upload, are stored securely on our servers; they are not publicly accessible and can only be viewed by you and our team via signed, temporary links. In AJTASK, a file that was started but not attached to a submitted request is automatically deleted within 48 hours, and a file attached to a submitted request is retained for as long as your account exists. In STRUKTUR, a file removed from a document is retained along with the document’s history, so that a previous version can reference it. All files are deleted when your account is deleted (see “Deleting Your Account” below). The app does not request any other permissions: no location, no contacts, and no push notifications.
Payments (Stripe)
Card payments, both in the app and on the website, are processed through the secure interface of our payment provider, Stripe: your card information is never transmitted to us or stored by us. We only retain technical identifiers provided by Stripe (customer ID, payment ID, or subscription ID) that allow us to link a payment to your order. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/fr-ch/privacy. Your login token is stored in your device’s secure storage.
Accommodations
The app, its API, and the files you attach are hosted in Switzerland by Infomaniak Network SA. In STRUKTUR, data that has not yet been saved to our servers is temporarily stored on your device (in the app’s storage area) or in your browser while it is being sent.
Deleting the Account
You can delete your account yourself from the app (Profile, then “About and Privacy,” then “Delete My Account”) or from the web client area (Profile, “Delete My Account”), by confirming with your password. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your profile, email addresses, connected devices, AJTASK requests (texts, voice messages, photos, audio files, and documents), STRUKTUR documents (blocks, files, comments, and history), and support inquiries will be deleted, along with your Stripe account Stripe (name, email, saved cards). If a canceled subscription is still active until the end of its paid period, this data will be cleared immediately, and the Stripe account will be deleted upon expiration. Active subscriptions must be canceled before deletion via the Accounting tab, under Subscriptions. You will receive an email confirming the deletion.
quotes, invoices, payments, and subscriptions that have already been issued are retained for ten years, as required by Swiss accounting law. These are accounting documents: they retain the information necessary for their validity (name, email address, amounts), but are no longer linked to an active account, and the IP address and browser information associated with them are deleted. You can also request their deletion by writing to contact@ajtvirtual.com; we will respond within 30 days.
4. Use of Data
Your data is used for:
- Responding to your contact requests or requests for a quote
- Create, activate, and secure your account in the client area and the AJT Connect app
- Process your orders, payments, subscriptions, and AJTASK requests
- Improve the user experience on our website and app
- Comply with our legal obligations
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, exchange, or transfer your personal information to third parties, unless it is necessary to provide a service you have requested (including payment processing by Stripe; see Section 3) or as required by law.
The content of your projects (ideas, concepts, documents, messages, and files uploaded to AJT Connect) is never shared with third parties. Only a decision by a competent Swiss authority could compel us to do so; in that case, we would disclose only what is strictly required, and—unless prohibited by law—we would notify you.
6. Safety
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, or destruction. Specifically: all communications are encrypted (HTTPS); passwords and login tokens are stored only as irreversible hashes; files can only be opened via signed, temporary links; and every change made by our team is recorded in an internal log.
7. Cookies
This site does not set any tracking or audience measurement cookies: no third-party analytics or advertising tools are installed on it. It only stores in your browser what it needs to function: the contents of your shopping cart, and your chosen currency and language. This data remains on your device, and the contents of your shopping cart are only transmitted when you place an order. The client areal also stores a session token to keep you logged in. The AJT Connect app securely stores this same session token on your device to keep you logged in. This policy will be updated if this changes.
